Get involved

Our Church congregations are made up of people of all ages.

There are many ways you could get involved such as attending our services or events, or joining one of our groups.

Church Services

There are both Sunday and Weekday services, which vary in style - see Our Worship page for more details.

An easy way to get to know people is to join us for refreshments after our 9.30 a.m. service at Wigginton or the 10.15 am. service at Haxby.   We also have refreshments after some of our weekday services.

Special Services and Events

We hold special services from time to time, such as at Harvest or Remembrance.

At certain times of the year we run study courses and other meetings - such as our Lent Lunches and Lent Study Course.

Weekly Notice Sheets

There are links on the homepage if you want to find out more information about the activities and meetings at both of our churches.

Church Groups

The groups in the church are many and varied - please follow the links to the relevant page.

Fundraising and Social Events

These are as advertised on the homepage - you are welcome to come along!

Churches Together

We join together with Christians in Haxby and Wigginton for special services and events and meet every Wednesday morning (except in August) for Morning Prayer in one of the churches in the area.   We also join together to consider World Church concerns, to co-ordinate Christian Aid collections and other responses to world events.

Supporting our work

Please pray for us and our mission if you feel able.

You may also wish, perhaps, to support our parishes financially.   We rely solely on voluntary donations (such as our Sunday collections) to sustain our ministry and maintain our church buildings.   Our parish treasurers will be happy to provide you with further details if you would like to contribute in other ways, such as a standing order, or would like to consider leaving a legacy.
