Our Worship

Details about our worship and what is offered at certain times of the year can be found on the links on the left.

For details about Services of Healing and Wholeness go to the 'Care, Prayer and Healing' link on the homepage.

We aim to be both lively and contemporary and yet also honouring the traditions that formed our heritage.

We are part of the Church of England and use Common Worship for the majority of our services.

The Book of Common Prayer is used for Sunday 8.00 am and Evensong services at St Mary's.

We aim to be both lively and contemporary and yet also honouring the traditions that formed our heritage. So vestments are worn and the sacrament is reserved.

Both churches use modern musical settings and enjoy exploring a variety of hymns and songs both old and new.

St Mary's has a robed choir. New members welcome!

Our Clergy and Readers come from a wide variety of Christian backgrounds so preaching and teaching styles vary.

Church members are welcome to participate in reading, leading prayers, assisting in administering communion, children's work and many other ways.

We seek to be The Body of Christ here in this community, underpinned by prayer and fellowship.
