Holiday Club Service: Sunday 8th September, 9.30 a.m.

There will be a special café-style Holy Communion service at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday 8th September, to which the children who attended the Holiday Club have been invited.   All are welcome to attend this service.

Messy Church: Sunday 8th September

The next Messy Church will be held at St. Nicholas’ Church on Sunday 8th September, 3.00 p.m.

Men’s Breakfast

The next Breakfast will be on Saturday 14th September, not as previously advertised.    The following date will be Saturday 19th October.

Bingo & Buns: Saturday 14th September

This will take place in Wigginton Church Hall, 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. (doors open at 1.30 p.m.)

6 games + Special £5; raffle; buns and cakes for sale.   Do come along!

Visit and Pilgrimage to Ripon.

The visit will take place on Friday 20th September and includes a guided tour of the Cathedral and an opportunity to join in midday Holy Communion. There will be time to explore the city and get some lunch.   There is an option to join our group visit and guided tour to the Workhouse Museum. The charge for the coach and the cathedral will be about £15 or £16, and the extra cost for the museum is £7.   Please sign the list in church if you want to join the group.

Harvest Festival: Sunday 29th September

For our Breakfast Club collection this year we have been asked to contribute Cornflakes, teabags, sugar and long-life apple juice.   Thank you.   There will be a brunch after the 9.30 a.m. service.


If anyone would like to be confirmed please could they speak to Nigel, our curate, or to Kathryn?

It is hoped to have an adult confirmation group and group for young people of year 6 age and above (about 11 years old), and to therefore book a date for a Confirmation Service
