THROUGH THE MONTH

MIDWEEK TUESDAY - held weekly, a time for young parents to bring their tots and toddlers into church for a very informal story time, before sharing coffee in the church hall. Starts 10.00am.

MIDWEEK THURSDAY held weekly,  there is a Communion service which starts at 10.30am with a small attendance of around twelve people, after which we share coffee and chat in the church hall.  

 MONTHLY FIRST WEDNESDAY -  'CUPPA AND CAKE '  -  in the church hall from 9.30am to 11.30am.  Come and meet new friends of all ages.    

MONTHLY HEALING SERVICE  - next service Saturday, 13th  April 2019 starting at 10.00 am. A service of prayers with a short address, with laying of hands and annoiting available

MONTHLY 'REFLECTIONS' Prayer- meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in Wigginton Church,   Offers a scriptured based time of prayer (about 30 minutes)

MONTHLY MENS BREAKFAST CLUB  Meets on 3rd Saturday of the month - next breakfast  meeting will be on Saturday, 20th March 2019  to which newcomers will be most welcome.  Serving from 8.30am  Small charge

MONTHLY BOOK & CAKE CLUB -meets last Tuesday of the month in the church hall, starting at 2pm. Small donation for cup of tea

MONTHLY MUSTARD SEED (faith group) -  Next meeting Tuesday evening 19th February 2019.  New people most welcome.  Contact Barbara on 750885 for venue /more details.

MONTHLY LADIES GROUP (meets in the Cottage Inn)

Meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month - next 2nd April at 8pm

CHRISTIAN BASICS COURSES, LEADING TO OPTION CONFIRMATION

If you wish to express an interest in joining the next course please have a word with the Rector. The  Christian Basics Course is 12 sessions, learning more about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, prayer, Holy Communion, the Bible, and living in the Christian faith.  Contact Rev Kathryn Jackson 01904 765155 for more details

 

Intercessions   Sundays  (not third Sunday)

We would love to recruit one or two additional people to share the intercessions rota.  Help or mentoring is available for anyone who would like to have a go.   Please contact the churchwardens in the first instance.

Church Cleaning  and Sunday Coffee Rota

We are always in need of new volunteers to join either of these rotas.  The cleaning takes no more than an hour of time and needs to be done ideally on a Saturday morning or anytime Friday.
