FORTHCOMING EVENTS ...

Christmas Fayre: Saturday 25th November, 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. in the Hall and Church.

Craft Stalls, Tombola, Cake Stall.   Refreshments, with light lunches served from 12.00 noon.   Grand Draw with £100 first prize - please pick up your tickets from the entrance hall (if you are able to deliver some to other members of the church family that would be helpful).

Carol Concert: Saturday 2nd December, 7.30 p.m. by The Ladies Euphonics Choir, in aid of Haxby Library Funds.  Tickets £5, including refreshments.

Christingle Service: Sunday 3rd December, 3.30 p.m., followed by St. Nicholas Day Party.

Advent Carol Service: Sunday 3rd December, 6.30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, Haxby

Advent Lunch: Wednesday 6th December, 12.30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church Haxby.   Our Advent Reflections speaker will be The Revd Canon Michael Smith, Canon Pastor at York Minster.   Soup and hot drinks will be provided, bring along your own sandwiches if you wish,

NOTICES ...

Sunday afternoon Autumn Concerts at St. Mary's, Haxby

The second concert in the series is on 19th November featuring the much-loved and ever popular ensemble “A Garland of Flutes” with Rosalind Grice and her fellow players.  The final performance takes place on 26 November with John Mackenzie playing solo classical guitar – another welcome return with some familiar music and some new.  All concerts start at 2.30 pm and tickets are available at £6 each.

200 Club – Member Subscriptions

Thank you for everyone’s continued support of this fundraiser for church funds.   New members always needed. Its £2 per month by Standing Order or £24 in advance. 

The Ladies Euphonics Choir

A carol concert, in aid of Haxby Library funds will take place at St Nicholas Church on Saturday 2nd December at 7.30 pm.  Tickets are £5, including refreshments.

Christingle Sunday 3rd December

At Wigginton Church Sunday 3rd December at 3.30pm Christingle followed by St Nicholas Day party – please bring an orange and a plate of food to share.

Advent Carol Service at Haxby

On Sunday 3rd December there will be an Advent Carol Service at 6.30pm at St Mary’s Haxby.

Wigginton Christmas Tree Carols

On Monday 18th December at 6.45 p.m. with The Lord Mayor.   Carols accompanied by The Shepherd Group Youth Brass Band, also Wigginton Sing Stars and The Wonder Years. Refreshments available in The Old School. See Poster for Details.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Haxby Town Council invited you to the lighting of the Christmas Tree on the village green Haxby on Friday 1st December at 6 p.m. All welcome refreshments will be served. Retiring collection in aid of Memorial Hall renovation.
